PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Connor Rendell
Cochrane Generals

Connor Rendell of the Cochrane Generals has been named the Heritage Junior Hockey League Player of the Month for January 2017.

Rendell, 21, recorded 13 goals and four assists in eight games during the month, helping the Generals to a perfect 8-0-0 record.

The Cochrane, AB product twice had a four-goal game during the month, once on January 13 against the Copperheads and once on January 28 against the Bisons.

With his 13 goals during the month, Rendell hit the 50-goal mark on the season, an uncommon place in the HJHL.

In 33 games so far this season, he has registered 83 points (50-33-83).
