"First and foremost Brady is a team first guy" says Kings Head Coach Jeremy Blumes "Brady is a tremendous skater and a tenacious forward that can play all 3 forward positions and is even versatile enough to play Defense if required. Brady has a great passion for the game, he is always one of the first to arrive at the rink and his enthusiasm is infectious.”
Bruneau plansto enroll in the sport management program, Bruneau remarked “the program looksreally good and I chose Lindenwood because they had a great year for being the teams first year and I believe there is lots opportunity for me to contribute and grow as a player and for this team to win a championship in the coming years. I'm looking forward to going there, playing hockey while also getting a great education!”
Blumes added “We will miss Brady’s presence both on and off the ice, however it is a proud moment for this franchise, seeing one of our players earn an opportunity at the college level. We believe our program can serve as a local and affordable stepping stone to advanced levels of hockey for the committed player."
Bruneau finished the season with 5 goals, 6 assists, 11 points and 18 penalty minutes in 33 games. 2 of Bruneaus goals were game winners. Bruneau was a key component on the Kings penalty killing unit.
