The Heritage Junior Hockey League is proud to announce the addition of the Kainai Junior Braves for the 2021/2022 Season.

League President Ian Hall stated "The passion and excitement at the opportunity of joining our league was noticeable in their presentation to the board. Adding another team in the South is what we were looking to do and we couldn't have asked for a better group to be associated with."

In addition to Kainai joining the Heritage League, the High River Flyers have also returned from their one year hiatus. Ian commented "High River has a long history in the HJHL and we are encouraged that the team found a way to get back on the ice for the upcoming season."

With the addition of Kainai and the return of High River, the league is now at sixteen teams, the largest number of teams ever to be part of the HJHL.

This season is shaping up to be one of the best.
